Mrs. Bueche’s Kindergarten Classroom Discipline Plan
*I believe that the first step to having a well- managed
classroom is to have a mutual respect between teacher and student.
I spend a lot of time learning about, talking to and getting to know and
care about every student. They will be encouraged to do their best every day and always given a chance to try while building confidence. My classroom is very structured and consistency is key to having a well- managed classroom.
Having open communication between the teacher and parent(s) is
also a very important factor in the success of a child’s learning.
I am always willing to listen to new ideas and suggestions that parents might have. I would like to communicate regularly through email, notes, and phone calls. If you ever have a question or concern please contact me at 445-0516 or
[email protected]
CLASSROOM RULES:
1.FOLLOW DIRECTIONS QUICKLY.
2.RAISE YOUR HAND FOR PERMISSION TO SPEAK.
3.RAISE YOUR HAND FOR PERMISSION TO LEAVE YOUR SEAT.
4.MAKE SMART CHOICES.
CONSEQUENCES:
1st offense- Warning is given to the child.
2nd offense- Name moved on the board. Child serves a time out.
3rd offense-Note home to parents.
4th offense- Write up and a phone call home to parents.
**Unfortunately some problem behaviors that hurt other children or
are considered major offenses may skip directly to a level 4.**
After any problem behavior I conference with
the individual child and we problem solve regarding the behavior and how to
change it and re-state the positive desired behavior.
I will be contacting parents if a child is continually having difficulties at
school. We have so much to learn in Kindergarten. The less time I have
to spend on disciplining students, the more time I have to teach. If a student is having troubles at school, I will be sending home a parent contact think sheet. Please sign and return to school the next day.
